How to cut holes for pipework in wall panels?

Overview:

Yes holes for pipework can be easily cut using a hole saw that fits onto your drill. If possible choose a fine tooth saw so that any possible tearing or cracking is avoided.

Question:

Hello, I have read that the panels can be cut with a hand saw at room temperature, but I'm not sure how they can be cut for pipework in a shower. Can a hole saw bit attached to a drill be used to cut circular holes in the panels to accommodate the pipework? Regards Steve

When fitting wall panels holes for pipework can be easily cut using a hole saw that fits onto your drill. If possible choose a fine tooth saw so that any possible tearing or cracking is avoided. Tip - if panels are very cold they can be more prone to cracking, so allow panels to climatize to room temperate. Extra tip - a hair drier can quickly warm up a very cold panel!
