Hello Rachel, the panels should just need wiping down after use, the main method of cleaning is just soap & water or mild detergent.
A weekly / monthly wash down with a commercial, nonabrasive, bathroom cleaner should be OK depending on how much the shower is in use. Make sure you rinse the surface after cleaning.
Cleaning Panels & CladdingCleaning panels is a topic that we’re always asked about and it’s very important to answer it properly. We always recommend keeping on top of panels as much as possible but the reality is, wall panels and other panels do not require a lot of attention. What’s even better is that the level of work to clean them is significantly reduced compared to tiles for example.
A simple wash down or wipe down after use can be more than enough to get them prepared for the next time they’re in use. We do recommend rinsing the surface once the surface is cleaned to ensure all dirt is removed.
When we compare our panels to tiles, there’s always the added benefit that panels take a considerably less time to clean and maintain. Whereas tiles can be difficult to manage and can often become a pain to clean for many. You don’t need to devote entire days or weeks to cleaning panels, just maintain them regularly with a simple wash and you’ll experience all the benefits without the hard work.
