Written By Interior PanelsHi Anthony, thanks for your query. You wouldn't necessarily have to remove the tiles, but doing so might make it easier to fit around the existing shower parts. (And if the tiles are particularly glossy you'd be advised to sand them down anyway, to create a key for the adhesive.) You'd have to cut holes in the wall panels in order to allow the parts of the shower to come through, which might be tricky, but you'd have to do this anyway if you have the shower in place on that wall as the panels are intended for wall cladding, not wall forming, and thus wouldn't be suitable for bearing loads - so you'd be better off fitting through the panels as opposed to fitting them to them. The best way to cut the panels is to use a good quality electric jig saw.
