Hi Jim - I would say that the majority of our customers fit some sort of light fitting though our panels. It makes no difference what voltage you choose, we only advise that you keep the hottest part of the fitting away from direct contact with the panels. uPVC has a softening temp of 60 degrees C but having sold thousands of these panels I can only recall one issue with fitting spots and we think it was a faulty light fitting (we replaced the panels anyway).
