How far apart from one another should my ceiling battens be fixed?

Overview:

If you're fixing battens to your ceiling before installing our panels, we'd recommend that you fit the battens at intervals of between 25cm and 45cm.

Question:

If you use battens to attach ceiling panels how far apart do they need to be ? - John

Hello John, thanks for your question. When you fix the ceiling panels we'd recommend that you use screws in the groove section, with the screws fixed at 30-50cm spacing. If you're using battens, obviously these will need to run in the alternate direction to the way you want your panels to run (i.e. if your panels are going to run vertically, then your battens must be horizontal) and you'll put the screws in where they cross over. So for that reason, we'd recommend you fit the battens somewhere between 25cm and 45cm apart.
