Hi Tracey. Its a bit difficult to be sure of what you intend doing in your project. Our panels can certaintly be used in a steam room environment with or without Wedi boards behind. If you want to fix to our panels we recommend that you fix right through into the substrate using spacers in the holes you drill through the panels to support the panel from crushing.
