What is the thickness of your Aquafloor panels? Do they require sealing at the joints?

Overview:

Just fitted three Aquabord wall panels, and we now need a waterproof flooring product.

Question:

How thick is is your waterproof flooring and do the joints need to be sealed? Do you sell a compatible quadrant to finish the edges where they are laid up to an existing skirting board?

Hello Phil, many thanks for your question.

The Aquafloor panels are 5mm thick. Click here to see the full range. These panels would not require joining at the edges using any sort of sealant or adhesive - you would simply lay these panels down directly onto a flat, flush subfloor (no need for underlay or glue) and they would slot together on all four sides with the panels' Click-Loc edging system. There'd be absolutely no need to run any sticky stuff between the panels at all!

We do have a quadrant that can be used if you have an existing skirting board in place - click here to see the white quadrant, and we also have a silver one - or we can provide white PVC skirting if you don't already have it or want to replace the existing. Remember to leave a gap for expansion between the panels and the wall (for more info / further installation details, click here).
