What to fit first - bathroom furniture, or IPSL panels / flooring?
Overview:
Would you fit the cladding (walls and floors) before the bath, toilet & sink, or is it just as easy to fit once the bathroom furniture is fitted?

Hello Darren, many thanks for your query.
With regards to the wall cladding, we'd recommend that you fit after you've installed your bathroom furniture, for the simple reason that you'd then be able to cut the panels specifically to size that they clad round the furniture. You want to avoid fastening any items of furniture to the panels themselves, as they're not meant to be wall-forming and thus not suitable for load-bearing - so the shower unit, any handrails etc. should be attached to the subwall and go through the panels, not onto them.
In terms of the flooring, a similar principle applies - we'd recommend that you install the furniture first and then fit the flooring cutting it to size around the items, although the other way around is possible (click here for more information).
