Fitting IPSL panels behind a gas hob
Overview:
I have acquired some of your Mosaic Azure Blue panels. I intend to use this in a kitchen.
Question:
Hello. I have acquired some of your Mosaic Azure Blue panels. I intend to use this in a kitchen. It will also be fitted behind a gas hob, will the heat from the hob cause a problem? Obviously were there direct heat then the answer is obvious! May be a bit late in the day to ask. If it would be damaged by heat then I assume the only solutions are to select some other product or cover the area behind hob with a glass panel. Thanks in advance - Ray

Written By Interior PanelsHi Ray. We would generally recommend that you place a stainless steel panel where the panels face a hob. The heat itself shouldn't be a problem unless we are talking extremely high temperatures for prolonged periods of time, so domestic cooking is unlikely to warp the panels - however, potential splashback from hot oils and cooking fats will certainly do so. Stainless steel will prevent any potential panel damage from taking place.
