IPSL supplied and fitted Premium Grade wall cladding to the kitchen area of Joanne’s fish-and-chip shop. Here’s what she thought of us:

“We recently had a major fire at our premises and our walls were very badly damaged. IPSL sent someone round to see the area and he made recommendations as to how we could best treat the walls before they came to fit the wall cladding. The advice he gave us was great and we were happy that they knew what they were talking about, so we decided to go ahead and have the Premium Grade fitted. It turns out we made the right decision – they were brilliant. Although we had lots of other tradespeople working at the same time and carrying out repair works, they got the job done without any problems. As a result we’re on course to re-open as planned. “We approached IPSL with our project after another company let us down at the last minute. Our kitchen was badly in need of renovation but it was too busy for us to close it down for any length of time. Because of these circumstances we were working to a very tight schedule but IPSL did not disappoint. A surveyor came to see the site and after he’d spoken to the team at the office he was able to quote us there and then, at a price we were happy to agree to. We were extremely impressed with the turnaround time – after three days of labour (in out-of-hours timeslots) the job was complete. IPSL’s fitters worked with our electrician to remove all our catering sinks and other wall furniture, and by the time the project was done everything was back in place on the wall, and our kitchen was ready to go again by Monday morning. Overall we’re very impressed with the way the project was completed with a minimum of fuss, and we’re very pleased with the walls – the Premium Grade looks great.”

I needed a supplier for a project I had tendered for and we found this company on the internet very easily. They were reasonably close for collection so we asked them to tender which they did in the same day without having to chase them up. Always a bonus in my book. I was given down to earth advice regarding the products I had specified and after fitting the panels I confirm it was good advice. If you’re planning on having a go at fitting you should have no problem so long as you are methodical and accurate at cutting the panels. There is only 3 - 4 mm tolerance realistically allowable between the panels and edge trim base plate, but if your walls are straight should be a doddle for an experienced DIYer. Finally we choose this product over tiles due to the problem with keeping the grout clean on tiles no such worries with this and the T&G system far better than a separate joint strip. Hope this helps any prospective buyers. I would use again!

When sourcing materials for en-suites at the Clifton Guest House here in South Shields, I came across Proclad. The samples that I ordered were delivered promptly. When I placed the order I was on a bit of a tight schedule and needed the boards quickly, despite blizzards and road closures all over the country, the boards were delivered and the job completed in time for my guest to take up residence in the newly refurbished room.
