What would you recommend for a recessed shower in an en-suite bathroom?

Overview:

We wish to panel the recessed showers in two en-suite bathrooms with no maintenance wall coverings. A three panel system looks to be what is required. The shower trays are 1000 x 800 and the ceiling height is 2.4m. As the property is to be let the product needs to be robust but cost effective.

Question:

What would you recommend for the above. What is the difference between the PVC and the more expensive boarding? - Alan

Hi Alan, thanks for your query. It sounds like any of our shower wall kits would be suitable for this situation, as they'd all give you sufficient coverage for your measurements, and they'd come with all the relevant trims, fittings, adhesive etc. you'd need to do the job. The Laminate panels are our most durable panel type and come, as the name suggests, with a laminated front and back face (the front side is decorative and the reverse is blank). However, the PVC panels are very durable too, and wouldn't be troubled by your average shower usage/wear-and-tear, so it would really be a question of design preference and possibly your budget.
